In the REARVIEW 2012
Our year with you, our friends and customers, has been both fun and challenging! Most of you know that HireQuest Direct supplies labor to all size of businesses, all size of jobs. But in 2012, HireQuest Direct went big and we wanted to share…
Downtown Nashville is still very much the center of things for Middle Tennessee – and it’s where HireQuest Direct has spent a busy 2012 supplying general and skilled labor to two of the most extraordinary projects the city has known. Partnering with fine companies such as Kovach, Harmony, Spectrum, Crawford Doors and Baker Roofing, HireQuest Direct has continued to be a presence in the Music City Convention Center.
Next to the MCC, Nashville’s new Omni Hotel has been on HireQuest Direct’s list of ‘largest projects’ throughout the year. Scheduled for completion in 2013, the impressive 25-floor high-rise is designed by a Vanderbilt graduate (!) and will connect on 4 levels with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. McKinney and Brasfield & Gorrie have been the builders on this project and HireQuest Direct has been proud to supply labor to McKinney, Brasfield Gorrie and Major Commercial Cleaning all associated with this project.
Creating more jobs! It was gratifying to have worked alongside Catamount Construction to complete the new 1.1 million sq. ft. Amazon fulfillment center in Lebanon. The Lebanon facility, which will be Amazon’s third fulfillment center in Tennessee, brings the total to more than 2 million square feet, impacting the state with more than 1200 new full-time jobs.
