Dry Rub Recipe!
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c. smoked paprika
- 1/4 c. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. granulated onion
- 1/8 c. chili powder
- 2 T. mustard powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp cayenne or crushed red pepper (to taste)
Go Grassless!
Get rid of your lawn and mower. Risky – but oh so satisfying. Research: “grassless yard.” The goal is to fill the space your lawn takes up with not-so-needy flora – preferably indigenous and drought-resistant plants, perennials and ornamental grasses … think decorative pebbles and even rubber mulch and… voila!
